Shreelakshmi Bhat, popularly known as Babyshree, is the Youngest Female Director, Actress, Author, Musician, Athlete, and Social Activist.  

Recognized as the Youngest Filmmaker, she has established herself as a Multi-Talented Achiever across Cinema, Literature, Sports, and Social Service. Her creative and social contributions have earned her multiple National and International Awards, as well as recognition in several Record Books worldwide.

Shreelakshmi Bhat made her Directorial Debut at the age of nine with the film Prakrati.
The project became an important milestone because it introduced her as the Youngest Female Director. 

She continued her filmmaking journey with Srushti at the age of twelve, which brought her wider recognition for its strong emotional content and fresh narrative style. This project showed that her first attempt was not a one-time achievement, but the beginning of a long and determined career. 

At the age of fourteen, she directed Nadhanka, a film that reflected her growing maturity in storytelling and visual presentation. During the production, she handled two professional cameras (Red Dragon & Red Helium) and successfully led a crew of 118 members on set. Remarkably, the entire shooting process was completed within ten hours, reflecting both her preparation and leadership skills. 

In the same year, she expanded her creative work beyond films by releasing a music album titled Siri. In this album, she not only directed but also wrote the Lyrics, showing her range as both a Filmmaker and Lyricist. 

At the age of fifteen, she completed Ruthu, another film that highlighted her ability to balance sensitive storytelling  with meaningful messages, further establishing her excellence as a young filmmaker. 

What makes Shreelakshmi Bhat remarkable is that for each of these projects, she independently wrote the Story, Screenplay, Dialogues, and Lyrics in addition to Directing. This rare combination of creative responsibilities made her stand out as a unique filmmaker in Indian Cinema.

Shreelakshmi Bhat is also actively engaged in Social service. She is a Trainer associated with the Srimadahava Seva Trust, to Teach Children with Autism and Intellectual disabilities, helping them develop basic learning skills and confidence through patient guidance. In addition to this, she is associated with various ashrams where she teaches Orphans and Children from underprivileged backgrounds, focusing on literacy by helping them learn to read and write. Her efforts in these institutions are aimed at empowering children with education and encouragement. 

Beyond her work with children, Bhat also dedicates time to supporting senior citizens. She regularly visits old age homes, where she interacts with the elders. Her service to the elderly emphasizes respect, empathy, and the importance of giving back to the community.
